Dr Vivek Loomba along with his friends set up the Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation with the aim to help the poor and needy. Besides Dr Vivek Loomba, the founding members of the Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation are Dr Kumar Prabhash and Dr Jagjit Singh. Dr Kumar Prabhash is an oncologist at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, Dr Vivek Loomba is a Pain Management Physician in New Delhi and Dr Jagjit Singh is an orthopaedician in New Delhi.
Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation helps in providing food, medical treatment and education for the poor. The Organisation has worked actively during the covid pandemic. As a founding member, Dr Vivek Loomba strongly believes in helping the downtrodden.
Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation is totally voluntary, and is open to assistance from like-minded individuals. As a pain physician, Dr Vivek Loomba also helps in the management of pain related issues of this population group. Dr Jagjit Singh has helped in managing orthopaedic patients.
During the cold winter months, Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation has distributed blankets to the people living on the streets. This has been of huge assistance in combating the cold winter nights. Dr Vivek Loomba has the vision that if each one of us can help one poor person, it will go a long way in improving the plight of our less fortunate brethren.
Dr Vivek Loomba has provided financial assistance to a blind school in Rohini, New Delhi. In addition, Dr Vivek Loomba has also provided aid for books and tricycles for handicapped kids.
The Dr Vivek Loomba Organisation is continuously striving to meet the demands of more and more families. Dr Vivek Loomba and Dr Kumar Prabhash have taken a lot of initiative in this regard.
